The show
Most interviews are about the guest. This one is about what the guest knows.
If someone has spent thirty years inside real estate, oncology, policing or venture capital, there is a body of knowledge in their head that never reaches the rest of us. It stays in the industry, in the jargon, behind the desk. The job of this show is to get it out.
Every episode is built as a teaching hour. The questions assume the viewer knows nothing and wants to know everything. No jargon left unexplained, no CV walkthroughs, no promotion. If a guest uses a term the audience wouldn't know, we stop and unpack it.
Shot in a single studio block in Bengaluru, edited properly, and published on YouTube. Longer segment cuts go up separately, so if you only care about one part of an hour, you can watch just that.
The Untold Ten
Every guest, no exceptions, gets the same ten questions at the end of the episode.
- The best advice you've ever received
- The worst advice you've ever received
- One piece of advice nobody should ever follow
- Your biggest fear in life
- Your most controversial opinion, the one you rarely say out loud
- A risk you didn't take that still bothers you
- Something everyone in your field believes that you think is wrong
- What you'd do differently if money weren't a factor
- Who you envy, and why
- A question you wish people asked you but never do — then you answer it
Who's asking the questions
I'm Abhishek M, twenty, based in Bengaluru. On most of the subjects covered here I start out knowing very little, which turns out to be the useful part.
The cost is the story
Every field has a price nobody prints on the bill. What a degree really costs a family. What a court case costs in years. What sits inside the number a hospital or a builder hands you at the end. An hour with the person who works inside that field gets you closer to it than a week of reading will.
If you want to talk about the show, or you know someone whose field deserves an hour, write to me directly.
Nothing on this site is investment, legal, medical or financial advice. Episodes are conversations with people about their field, not professional guidance.
